Questions people actually ask
How do refunds work?
Cancel before the baker accepts your order and you get a full refund, service fee included. After a baker accepts, the product total is still refunded on any cancellation — including baker-initiated ones — but the service fee is non-refundable, since payment processing has already run.
When do bakers get paid?
Funds are released to you immediately once pickup is confirmed, via Stripe Connect. From there they land in your bank on your payout schedule — daily, weekly, or monthly, with instant payouts for eligible accounts.
What happens after my six free months?
A 2% commission is deducted automatically before each payout — nothing else changes. As a founding baker you pay half the standard rate, locked in for the lifetime of your storefront. Join by January 1, 2027 to qualify.
Do products have bulk discounts?
Many do — bakers can set quantity pricing, like buy 6+ and pay less per unit. That's why browse pages show "From $X". The 6.5% service fee applies to the discounted subtotal.
Where is Ovendrop available?
Florida and Minnesota today, with more states on the way. All orders are picked up in person from the baker — there's no shipping or delivery yet.
